I mentioned previously that I would be patching all of my sites to deactive the horridly annoying click activation (AKA “Eolas Bug”) which came about due to a Microsoft update not too long ago. The update changed the IE browser so that the user was now REQUIRED to click once to activate Flash movies. Meaning that you could not interact with them until you clicked once. Clicking once is no big deal, but it really does get annoying after a while. Not to mention that all Flash movies were surrounded by a white border until you clicked it.
So, you will be happy to know that I have eliminate this from my sites and my customer’s sites. They should now be activated immediately upon loading.
